Trip to the South East Asia started!!!

8th February

I have landed in Bangkok, got by train to the center and wanted to go to my guest house by taxi. First taxi did not want to take me there and just went without me. The second one wanted to have 200 B for a ride and I have heard that it should cost definitively less... So I have left that car. But: during such a terrible rush hour it was not easy to find something, so finally I have landed in Tuk-Tuk. For 200
B...

Guest House is fine, however smelling a bit like fungi... But no wonder with this humidity. After some sleep I went for a night walk at midnight, got some foot from street and returned back home after 2 hours. Nice.

9th February

Time for a sightseeing. But first I had a coffee on a pier, directly on the river. And some hot green curry with rice noodels. Maybe it is not going well with coffee latte, but actually why not.

Green curry goes perfectly with coffee latte...
Then, after having funny pancakes from the street, I have visited The Grand Palace Complex dating for 1782 and consisting of royal residence, throne halls, government offices and the Temple of Emerald Buddha.
Of course during the hottest period between 12 and 2 pm, great. It was for sure over 30 degrees... but better this than 3 and rain (see: Goettingen)... Maybe this style is not mine style, but very impressive, very precious. Very impressive was as well Queen Sirikit museum of textilies - Thai are very thankful to her for what she has done for the development of the country, including supporting of national and traditional silk fabrics.

We do not want to live here

Parade of beauty...

One could feel in love...
... especially with his shape.

Every detail has to be well done.

Every one.
