Rio is such a wonderful city and has "viel zu bieten". On the first day I went to Sugar Loaf, Pão de Açúcar, a steep hill where you can get on with a cable car. It was a bit foggy day (yes, Rio can be foggy, and yes, even rainly, which I have experienced on 2nd Nov, my second day in Rio). On the second day I went to Santa Theresa, a very artistic part of Rio, with colourfull colonial style houses, and to Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer Statue). Because I wanted to see the Christ. But I didnt take into account that maybe the Redeemer doesnt want to see me... So he did not. Neither do I, because of this f... fog, wrapping him, wrapping me and the whole Rio... All visitors had to laught about it... But I can be a bit "stuhr" sometimes so tommorow I will visit Christ again and take some wonderful pictures of him and Rio from above... today I just post some with foggy Christ...
Today the wheather was just wonderful so I did a walk along the Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana beach and stayed in the late afternoon at the beach next to Pão de Açúcar. More details will follow soon...
Aha. It has right now been told me that in this very expensive hostel with very expensive internet it is not allowed to upload pictures... What a service... So please be patient :)
Madzia, I just can't wait when you'll leave those cities and start to admire this spectacular, South American nature! :) BUZI!
